About Us

Utah Creative was founded in 2004 by Daniel Davidson, an entrepreneurial-minded web developer from Salt Lake City, Utah. Having observed many pitfalls faced by companies while seeking technology providers, Dan recognized the most successful business relationships are formed through effective communication and when promises are kept. He also realized that by being available to consult with his clients proved to reduce tension and improved overall work flow. With the assistance of his wife, Megan, Utah Creative has grown substantially over the past six years.

As Utah Creative grew, we began to seek out other talent.  Knowing that a project can only be as successful as the weakest member of the team, we pick from the best designers and programmers for each individual project.  Every website we build is as unique as the companies we work with. Below are the incredibly talented individuals we are proud to have on our team.

Dan Davidson

Co-Founder, Utah Creative

Dan Davidson is an entrepreneur and a technology enthusiast. With more than a decade of experience
designing and building web applications, Dan has been involved in hundreds of projects ranging from small
business websites to enterprise software systems. Dan has proven his ability to manage and deploy large-scale
projects from start to completion as the developer for such clients as the Utah Republican Party, Vision Care
Direct, and many others. Prior to becoming the founder of Utah Creative, Dan has obtained valuable experience
while working for some of Utahʼs largest and most successful web development firms.

Dan received his B.S. degree from the University of Utah in Mass Communication. He and his wife/best-friend/
joint-business-partner Megan reside in North Salt Lake, Utah.

Megan Davidson

Co-Founder, Utah Creative

Megan Davidson always dreamed of running a business with her husband and partner.  Seeing a need for affordable, professional web development with a personable touch, Megan saw this as the perfect opportunity nearly 5 years ago.  Megan knew the dynamic duo could really make a difference for small and large companies alike with her added passion for simple and organized design coupled with her background in office management.  From designer, to project manager, to office manager, to designer, Megan wears any and all hats.  Megan strides in providing the best customer service while producing the best product.

After enjoying her experience at the University of Utah, Megan received her B.S. degree in Consumer Studies.  The love of her life, Dan, keeps her on her toes taking her on new adventures in their private and business life.  On the side, Megan loves to share her talents and love for music by teaching children piano.  She also enjoys hiking, biking, running, and anything that puts her in the middle of the gorgeous Utah mountains.

Jonathan Davis

Founder, Objective Company

Jonathan Davis is, at heart, an entrepreneur and an inventor. He is the owner and founder of The
Objective Company, a technological consulting firm based out of Sandy, Utah. Jonathan began designing
websites in 2002 and has been working professionally since 2007. Because of his natural talent, Jonathan has
been chosen as a developer of more than 50 websites to date. He was the project manager for more than a dozen
of these projects.

Jonathanʼs personal expertise includes custom web application development, database design, and custom server
configuration. Among his tools and choice technologies are Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP. Jonathan is also
current with advanced technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and Git.
Jonathan enjoys reading books, doing photography, and exploring whatʼs possible with digital animation in his
spare time.

Noah Read

Designer

Noah Read is a graphic designer based in the Pacific Northwest. He loves using type and images to
communicate with others at a deep and emotional level. Using old-fashioned brainstorming techniques combined
with the latest industry tools, Noah likes to craft strong, authentic messages. He focuses on building a strong
identity in print and on the web, using traditional and multimedia avenues. He can touch his intended audience
with clarity and power.

Noah is a graduate of the Northwest College of Art. He received a double-major B.F.A. degree in design and
multimedia from the College of Visual Communication. He is married and is a proud father of one.
