How Cloud Computing Optimizes Creative Workflows

Cloud Computing has disrupted the way we live, work, and do business. Almost everything we do in life triggers a function or stores data in the Cloud. If you're not thinking about it, you might not realize how deeply Cloud-based services are knit into our daily lives.

My argument is that the digital atmosphere is here to help and we can use it to enrich our life and work. I am an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and I am studying for the AWS Cloud Developer Associate exam. I have noticed parallels between many of the concepts I've studied and how we can optimize building a creative team. Below, I've outlined how cloud concepts can be greatly beneficial and can lower your overhead and streamline your creative processes.

Distributed Workloads

One huge benefit of Cloud computing is being able to distribute your workload across an array of worker machines. When you hire a full-time employee or employ an agency, you are lock-stepped with a single resource. This might be great as long as you have a good relationship with who you've hired, but it won't scale and you are limited to how much time they have available.

Resources On Demand (Rented)

Being able to employ the right talent as soon as you need can often be a challenge. The cloud model offers the ability of assigning tasks to resources that are perfectly sized to handle what you need. On the cloud, you don't own the resource, but you can rent it for as long as you need it. If any problems arise, the cloud gracefully transfers your workload to another comparable resource to take over.

Pay-As-You-Go

On the Cloud, you rent time and resources from the provider in small increments. Workloads are handled and you pay for only what you need. As your needs increase, you are allotted more resources to handle your needs appropriately. There is no need to own the resources or worry about unused time or capacity.

Utah Creative Network: Your Cloud for Creative Services

The idea behind the Utah Creative Network is to bring the advantages that the Cloud brings to online software systems to your business's creative and marketing operations. The Network is your Cloud Creative provider and we are here to help you scale. We have built relationships with talented workers who have available slots of time that can be dedicated to helping you with your projects. We can help you determine who the right talent is to create the most impact and deliver the best work possible. Whether it be a photoshoot, an email template, or coding up a web page, we can help you get the job done right.
